P Pump Lever arm adjustment.
I have been towing a bit this summer and tweaked the AFC spring, plate position and Zero boost to get it where I like it.
The question I have is regarding the governor lever arm. Does anyone have a feel for how much the arm travels vertically vs. RPM? I would like to bring the torque peak down a tad since I slipped the plate ahead. I am finding the peak fueling comes in around 16-1700 and I would like to drop it back down the 1500 Rpm range it was orignially at the stock position.
How far should I turn up the lever arm? Are we talking thousandths of an inch? I would like not to make alot of adjustments to the lever arm if I can help it.
Thanks..

With the #10 plate move the governer arm so the plate on the arm is about the thickness of that plate below the j hook point. You should get fueling all the way through the rpm range.
