P Pump HP ratings/injectors

Wasnt sure if this was for this section or the 12V section but....
I was looking on TSTs site and seen they list a #10 plate on a
180hp pump at 220hp/570tq
215hp pump at 330hp/750tq
So I just picked up a 215hp pump off ebay and want to put the #10 plate and GSK kit thats in my 180hp pump in the 215 and swap out the pumps.
My question is how much will I loose without the 215hp injectors? I will eventually be sliding in a set of Lennys sticks but wonder if the 215 pump will feel much stronger than the 180 pump with the little 180hp sticks? Anyone done this?

the 215 injectors will give you about 20hp more, than your 180hp sticks. Put that 215 pump in, you'll love the extra hp it'll give you.

for that much you could have sent the 180 to scheid and had them do some internal work on it and had it pushing twice as much fuel as a 215

Perhaps, but I can sell my 180 for the same price ( or very close) I paid for the 215 and the truck will only be down long enough for the swap.

You got a steal on that one I bought one about a year ago for $900 calibrated

The 913 is the best base to start from is what everyone tells me. It will flow the most fuel without big mods That's what I'm looking for

I think the pot got a little sweeter also as he thru in the stock 215hp injectors for $50 more so a grand total of $701 shipped for the 913 pump and 215 injectors. I know most shops I looked into so far have a core charge of $1000-$1100 for the 913 pumps so.....We will see how it goes

Mcmopar
I have been watching for months now and have only seen two 913s come up and a few that were addvertized as 215hp pumps but when I emailed for the CPL the came back as 180s so look in to them before you bid
Good luck with your search
