p-pump a 93???
#2
It's not so much "hard to do", but, is expensive. My brother-in-law has a 1st gen 12v that he wanted to convert to a p-pump. Essentially, he found that he'd have to replace the whole front assembly (timing/gear drive case) for starters. I can't remember the list of other parts, but, I know it was somewhat extensive, which is why I said it would be expensive to do. For him, he dropped the idea because all he wanted to do was build about 300+ hp. He found out he can easily do that without a p-pump. I'll be talking with him this weekend and will ask him what all was involved. I remember him talking about someone that was making a partial conversion kit that delt with the front assembly. I'll see if he remembers who it was and get back to you with where he found it and what else he discovered was involved. In the mean time, check for 1st gen forums. There are people there that may have done it or know much more about it, since, it is a 1st gen conversion.
