Hey guys!

For everyone running an Outerwears on your BHAF. How do you clean them?

I love this thing for the amount of crap it keeps out of the filter, just have to look after it.

I just took mine in to the kitchen sink and used a little soapy water and a sponge. Worked great. Though after about 75k on mine I need a new one. It is just plain wearing out. I may give it one more cleaning and then get a new one.

I just threw mine in the washing machine with load of pants.

Didn't seem to hurt it any.


Barry- is that 75K on the same BHAF as well, or have you replaced it during that time?

I was wondering if I could throw it in the wash with the laundry. Hand wash is just as easy.

That 75k is with an afe filter not a bhaf. So no it hasn't been replaced.
