I know that I've comletely drained mine 3 times...and after a PROPER CHARGE for Optima's, they started back up and haven't given me a moments trouble since!

I also had a customer bring one back to us about a month ago. It finally gave up the ghost after about 11.5 years of use in his utility tractor

I'm sold!

I'm running a total of 23 redtops on various trucks, tractors and equipment.
Started using them nine years ago and haven't had to replace even one of them yet.

Just last week I replaced a pair of lead acid batteries on a combine. The batteries looked corrosion free on the top and cables but after I removed them discovered the steel plate they were mounted to was corroded almost all the way though, could poke a screwdriver though the 1/4" plate. It took me six hours to take the unit apart enough to get in, cut and weld in a new plate then put everything back together.
Six hours of my life I won't ever get back.
If I had been running redtops it would have never happened.
Well it won't happen again, the combine has two new redtops.
