Finally got some pics of the tire protrusion.

They line up perfectly with the front tires! I like it!





I am using the EGR carbon-kevlar brake shoes, and updated bigger wheel cylinders.

I totally bypassed the load proportioning valve for the brakes. These brakes are NICE now.. I like them better than the disc brake setup I had before, but I think the proportioning valve may have been nearly off, (not sending any fluid to the rear brakes) because this thing is a LOT better, like night and day.

I dig it! Nice work Nuttin wrong with properly setup drum brakes---all the worlds semis can't be wrong, hehe.

How long did it take you to do the swap, and what did it cost? Mines in pieces right now.

I had a shop put mine in, since I don't know anything about drum brakes.

The swap itself would have cost me about $500 without the extra needed parts.
(I needed brake shoes, parking brake cables, hub seals, clutch packs, and a few other odds & ends, so it cost a bit more)

I picked the axle up for $750 originally. There is a Dana 80 SRW axle on TDR for $750 I believe.
