Makes me feel like I shouldn't ask a question and search first?! Anyway here it goes, What is the difference between a stock VP and a Hot Rod pump? How much more will it flow and when is it needed? And will a stock VP support 200hp injectors?

Thanks for the help!

yes you can use those injectors on a stock vp. the hot rod will put out another claimed 100hp though most say they dont think so . some of them run rough as well i am told . i bought mine from industrial injection they rebuild them completly and they get the upgraded computer. i just recieved a reply from source automotive and rip told me they dont always replace the computer. and he wanted 1295. dont think so

Your right dieselfan, all I was trying to do was get Michael to use the resources he has available here to him. Many of the Members that have given him advice here, also have posted many times in all those VP-44 threads also.

An SO pump will proably handle 200hp sticks but i wouldnt count on a HO pump to last to long with those big of sticks!

I dont really think a hrvp44 will flow more fuel in the higher rpm band but on the lower end you can tell a big difference! If the wire is tapped or not!
