The Old 12 Valver
Well, I have had this thing for 10 years now!! It has 200,000 miles on it. Been "BOMBED" since about 30,000.
Some of you guys were still in high school when I got this thing and started hot roddin it! LOL
Anyway, this past week the truck has been through some changes.
Completely rebuilt engine with a few cool goodies inside, rebuilt the 5 speed with a fully splined mainshaft and 5th gear, Updated to the SBC 1 3/8" input shaft, new clutch from SBC, new slave and master for the clutch, all new u-joints, new starter, water pump, oil pump, dampner, new fan shroud, new fan, new fan clutch, replaced a few A/C lines and drier, new fuel delivery system, new injection pump, new turbo and exhaust, and a million little things I cant recall right now.
Oh yeah, I installed a 3rd gen track bar with the adapter and a DSS steering thingy. I can tell a huge difference with it just sitting still and turning the wheel. Killer mod!
With some luck and hard work I might get it started tonight or tomorrow. YEE HAWW!

Cool Don, how much power do you expect to have when you wrap up? What SBC clutch did you go with? DD I'm guessing since you updated hydraulics so which plate load? Let us know how it performs for you when you finish up. Good luck with it, Matt
