Before I installed a 16cm housing, a local muff shop offered me one free to test and see if it would indeed lower egts, since my truck was straight piped and had the drone bad, I gave it a shot, and it did lower the temps and no drone!!! I would not pay for one, even when I had a 4inch system installed after installing some more mods, My opinion is for the money just a straight thru glasspack is where it is at, I did not even ask how much they are so any one know the price ???, the one I have is a 3 in and 3in out, and it is stainless thru out. What a wonderful thread let's bash something we know nothing about and have never tried.

Unlike most here I put my money up and bought an Aero Turbine with a matching exhuast. My truck sounds awesome way better than a straight pipe (my opinion) and spools faster, egts are way down (150 to 200), and I'm running a stronger truck now then when I first put this on a stock truck. It was my second bomb and I love not having that **** drone.

Tried it with and without Aeroturbine on the new exhuast so it wasn't just because I put in a new 4" Silverline exhuast system.

edgrim, I was wondering why folks were bashing the Aero Turbine muffler also. Although I don't see how it can increase power and mpgs like they claim the Aero Turbine free flow mufflers look, sound nice and are a great price.

The Aero Turbine muffler lowered my egt 150. And the sound is sweet.

Didn't you guys put a 2004 vete on the dyno before and after and it showed a 50 RWHP increase in power.

Can you get some dyno sheets??
