Ok, stupid question, where is my pusher pump?

Is it located behind and underneath the fuel filter?

Well you don't persay have a "pusher" pump if your truck is stock. The pushers are mounted on the frame rails under the driver seat or some were in the local. The OEM style that you have on your truck is as you described behind and a little underneath the fuel filter on the side of the block

Ok, thanks. That's what I thought. Is there another pump in the tank?

not on a stock truck unless the dealer put it in, but it would eliminate the one thats like 8 inches from the fuel filter

Looks like a real pain to get to. Do you have to remove the fuel filter housing?

Yes. Its just a couple bolts to pull the FF out. The pump bolts on the pump are a pita to reach. Its much easier to replace once relocated on the frame =P

I've seen the relocation kit from Vulcan. What is a good pump to go with, Holley, Carter?

When I plumbed my exhaust brake and when I changed the lift pump on my truck all I did was take the top two black bolts out and lay the whole housing off too the side and it was allot better access.
