ok need some advice here guys...

i got a buddy that went and got a 5k dollar loan to dump into performance parts on his truck (not the smartest decision...)

anyways, hes already got 150 hp injectors. he needs a turbo (thinking htb2 or Phat Shaft around 1500) and a double disk clutch (south bend around 1800) and a box.

i, of course, being bias was going to put on a comp. but with the new smarty and all....

so what do i need to do? i may stick MY edge comp on his truck, make him buy me a TST and then buy a smarty for myself from the shop time and labor ill charge him. so whats yall's thoughts??

Sounds like you've figured out a way to get a smarty/TST stack. Go for it.

Comp, smarty, dual disk, phat shaft. That's what I'd do.

Marco (Smarty Inventor) says Smarty timing is superior to Edge timing. He prefers TST PM3 with Smarty on odd # settings (incl. timing)!

I switched from EZ/TST to Smarty/TST and noticed smoother acceleration, quieter idle and faster pickup....so I won't argue with him.

If you can make the switch with no added cost... I would.
