I'm afraid If I add any tip to my 5" it's going to start dragging the ground. I mean come on it's going to look like an open 5gal bucket welded to the end. I painted it black and really the only other consideration is a black chrome tip.

I thought it did a little, it's hard to say how, not really louder but maybe a bit deeper. And a "reverberated" sound, if that makes any sense whatsoever.
