Well I'm back in houston. First time I've been without my truck in 5 years. Oh well. James took me in his and with the juice on 2 he half throttled it out of the parking lot and spun them into 2nd gear. This is going to be a fun ride.

Congrats Blue...long time coming.

FWIW...you may want to get at least 100 miles on her before you beat the snot out of it.

So blue what are you getting done to your tranny? Hopefully your putting in some billet shafts in her, with a race valve body. The first 25psi boost launch will make you smile. You need some bigger injectors now and a big B2 on the bottom of your B1. Which converter you gonna put into the rig? I would put in a high stall converter. Mines stalls around the 1800 to 1900 range and spools the twins so much easier than a low stall. Even running under the 1800rpm, its isn't sloppy and still grabs better than a stock TC or my old low stall BD converter. cheers bud...

When we got Josh(teddybear's) full Goerend installed, he asked if there was any break in on it. Dave told him to just run the snot out of it And let me tell ya.... With a little bit of fuel, and a bigger turbo. 15psi launches feel awesome Some day i'll have billet shafts, more fuel, and a built tranny and I will be able to do that.... Actually theres a SPS62 in my passenger seat right now, but its not mine. Makes me think evil thoughts though

No shafts this go round mike. I can't afford it. Wish I could though. I am donig the billet third gear drum though. It's basically an O.E. rebuild with better parts. James built this same tranny for Jim Fulmer a while back and it held 693hp before it snapped the input shaft on the dyno so I think it'll hold. He's putting the 89% single disk converter in mine. I know I need a b2 on bottom but I think I need studs and o-rings first. I'm throwing the truck on the dyno next saturday to see what she's doing. I think I'm also gonna see if James will ship my TST off to have it upgraded to a comp version before the dyno. I want 500hp.

Eric, break in consists of "normal" driving.

Just talked to James. I destroyed the 3rd and od clutch, band, and drums, along with the reverse drum, and the od support and piston. Basically another 1000 or so miles and I woulda been walking. Can't wait to see the bill on this. He's still pushing for me to have it back tomorrow.
