Would I need to o-ring my head if I were to run a PDR HX-40 gated at 40psi? Or would there be somethin better instead of o-ringing? I wouldn't want to keep going through gasket after gasket. Any idaes, opinions, or help would be great.

The stock gasket will be fine. I do agree with Don though that adding the ARP studs will certainly make the truck completely reliable.

I've been running 40-43 pounds for quite some time with no problems. The only reason I don't have studs is ARP ran out. They will be installed shortly though.

 

I've been maxing out at 45-46 lbs for six months, no ill effects yet with stock HG and bolts (knock on wood)! Studs are in my short list.
Don, what is your suggestion for max boost with stock HG and 12mm studs? I know it varies, just not sure how much it changes!
