Now We're Talking Back Up Lights
Well after a night in the shop frezzing my rear end off in 15° weather no heat in the shop I now have back up lights that are far better than the OEM excuses for lights. Thanks Crobtx for the idea were to mount them up you can see by the dent in my bumper wich spured this project to the top of the list.

Ive got a set of them on my chevy. They are really nice when backing up. Ive got mine wired in to come on only in reverse but now that i have done it i would rather have them on a switch. I bet the tailgaters would back off REAL fast

That was one of my first mods. I even have a third one that swivels, an outside switch on it helps to shed some light when hooking trailers up in the dark.
I converted my stock back-up lights to amber turn signals also.

I just wished I would have done it sooner but I am a little skeerd when it comes to wiring I don't trust my self and recently have started doing a little more wiring. My success and confidence builder came with making a jumper for my power windows I figured heck if I can wrap a wire around a fuse and crimp on a spade heck I can wire lights an a switch then when I was all done an flipped the switch they did not work tell I remembered I left all my grounds loose tell I finished pulling wires

my back up lights, with t-handles to hold them down and they will rotate all the way towards the front on both sides, I'm guessing somewhere around 300 degrees of rotation. Anything is better than the factory backup lights....the new tail light in my explorer was my motivation....
