I take it back, these injectors rock at highway speeds. Big Blue was right when he said that RV's don't have much top end. These Jammers just keep pullin and pullin and pullin. My boost however will not go above 33 psi now, but the turbo sure sings a higher note at WOT, i must have a minor boost leak and i'm prolly overspeeding the turbo.

EGT's are very manageable as long as the Juice is on the lower settings. I usaully drive around with Juice 1x1 for smoke control. On 1x1, WOT, It doesn't go over 1200*. On 6x5 "Hot", four seconds to hit 1500* in fifth gear.

I havn't had any problems with my jammer 5s. I bought them from www.Citydiesel.com for $400 after core credit. They are way to big for the stock turbo, I was hitting 1600deg @40-50mph wot. I put on my new 64\12 and the hottest it will get is 1400deg wot to 110mph. Oh and I just dyno'ed 496hp\960tq. So I'm very happy with them. Oh and all #s are on 5x5 on the comp.

Ur lack of performance increase is directly related to you not having enough air.... I'm happy with my Vs when A/C compressor cycles I get a slight lope for 2 or 3 seconds and then it equals out. May have more to do with the ECM sending for more fuel because of the A/C load and because the injectors are larger it isn't as smooth..
My V's were flow and pop tested and passed with flying colors, dont remember what the % variance was, but well within specs. My stockers on the other hand I threw on the stand and they were out close to 15%!!!!

It's something I consider normal for having huge sticks. There's nothing necessarily wrong with your injectors at all if you get a little cough when the A/C cycles.
This is because of the governor that's built into the ECM software. When the ECM detects a drop in RPM from increased load (like the A/C clutch locking), it compensates by adding more fuel. Well, the bigh sticks dump in more fuel than the ECM is expecting, and the RPMs will come up more than the ECM is expecting, so it cuts fuel. This drops the RPMs a bit which repeats the whole process over again.
Even with my DD2s, I had this happen when I was backing out or something. I'd nudge the clutch, and the engine would briefly hiccup as it attempted to deal with the changing load condition.
It's my opinion (not fact) that a Smarty tuner increases the aggressiveness of the low-rpm governor. Just TRY to kill a Smarty/big stick truck by popping the clutch in a lower gear. Heck, my truck will shudder and pull 3rd gear from a dead stop with NO SKINNY PEDAL.
So don't sweat this little lurch-- it's just the governor "chasing its tail" so to speak. I personally LOVE the little lurch, as it gives the truck some spunk-- like trying to get a saddle on a wild horse that was just BORN TO RUN!!

I can't believe that your running a set of jammers 5 on a stock turbo. The turbo must be a dark brown color. Only 35psi of hot boost. I used to pull 55psi with my twins and the BD155. I'm running a set of BD130's and my boost is 45ish area. No smoke. Both sets of injectors stumble. Change injectors to machers or ddp, the idle smoothens out.

BTW, don't feel bad. I have a built 913 pump, and DDP 4's and can't even break the 400hp mark
