May not help with the install since you don't have the dash mount cup holder but this is what I did when I added the fog lights, backup lights, and grease switch. I got the switches from Off road Rockers, they can make them up for many different uses and colors.

How about hidden switches? When I had my drag comp, I put it in the ashtray. If I ever need to mount switches (depending on what they are), thats where they will be going. Those Off-Road Rockers do look very nice, though.

Dredging up this good thread. I'm thinking about locating the Quadzilla switch inside the ashtray area. It's a tiny little 3 position lever type.
Seems like I could put a hole in the top (roof, if you will) of the ashtray, locate the switch there. The switch is so small, I don't think it would touch the ash tray door when closed (will check that more later).
Open the door, flip the switch, close the door. Stealthy. Anyone installed a switch in there?
