Well , the injectors will give you more fuel for the turbo. You may still be laggy thats when you go with the smarty. The injectors will give you more performance. Which turbo did you go with?

The whole reason you bought a turbo was to keep EGT's down, so don't go with sticks that are too big.
I bought some Dynomite Diesel 95 HP sticks, and hopefully they won't be too hot.
New Era Diesel and Formula 1 sells EDM'd injectors. Alot of companies make injectors.
You can usually pick some up used if you keep your eye open.

Injectors will give you the most hp gain by far. A smarty would make it fun to drive on the bottom end, but all out power, go with the injectors. 2. how much do you want to spend? you can get jammers for $300 or mach's for $700. mach's aren't as smokey and better hp gains, but if the jammer's are what's in the budget, there's nothing wrong with a little more smoke

I don't know the BD 'Pressure lock' but suspect the injectors may overload your tranny. IF not.....
For HP on a dyno - get the injectors
For improved drivability and daily driving fun.... get the Smarty.
Buying injectors on EBAY . Pay your money and take your chances! I would go to DTR classified and only buy from long term, posting members. JMO

When your 7,000 lb truck accelerates from a red light like a 2500 lb sports car.... It's Fun
When you drive with your big tow, instead of your foot.... it's fun
When your Turbo has less lag....it's fun
ETC.
Just do yourself a favor and try the Smarty before you buy the injectors. Unless you most interested in top end power... you'll know what I mean by fun.

I would try to find some one in your area with one, and try it out. Then you decide for your self. the smarty would be less smoke, less heat, less strain on the clutch (but still will needed upgraded) and less top in power, but more money, stop light to stop light the smarty might be faster than the sticks, but you can't get HP cheaper than jammers 130 for less than 200, that's the cheaps hp on the market, BUT all the stuff it takes to run them PRICELESS (I always wanted to say that)
