Ok it's time for the next mod on my 98. I have thought about this for a while and I got ta tell ya I'm on the fence on which way to go. I was going to order some Mach 4 injectors then I thought about just ordering new injector nozzles and put them on my stock injector and have them pop tested. My 3rd idea was to put on a comp box and keep my RV 275's. So what do you guys think? I run alot of miles (5-10,000 a month)and I run with about 1000 -2000 lbs on the truck. (Welder and tools) Fuel mileage does come into play. I don't tow. So I have about $1500 in the mod fund. Help me spend it.
Thanks,
Topper

The Smarty won't necessarily give you more ultimate horsepower than an EZ but it sure gives you better SOP power than the EZ ever did. There is no way to compare the two.

Ok I've been reading about the Smarty. I guess I don't understand. How much power does the Smarty on it's own add or does it just take the power that you alresdy have and helps to manage it? I know that it has a bunch of nice options but does it add power?
Thsnks guys,

Smarty isn't going to give you a big boost in power, but it allows you to better use the power that you have. Makes the turbo like to spin and the motor like to rev.
If you wanted the mach 4's, look into ways to get more air in there with a manual boost controller or send your turbo to HTT for and upgrade.
I try to err on the side of safety and normally recommend adding air over fuel so how about a turbo? Then you'll be able to add fuel later and be ready for it.

I'd do Smarty first, THEN injectors.
Don't get me started on how much I love my Don M Mach 4s! They're amazing!
