NEW wastegate controller, anybody have this?
Saw this in the lastest issue of Diesel Power. Went to the website to check it out. Sounds like a boost fooler, but says it has adjustable time delays. I'm still confused on what exactly it does? Anybody used this yet or have any info on what it does? Thanks

I had something very similiar running on my truck when I still had the HX35 installed. I did not use a remote switch, but I used a Gems Pressure switch set at 35 psi and a Mac solenoid valve. Instead of of a needle valve I used a boost elbow.
On my set up, the waste gate would be held closed until 35 psi. At which time the switch made up and opened the solenoid valve which allowed air pressure to open the waste gate. The boost elbow, just slowed the reaction down a bit so that boost pressure would not oscillate bouncing on the pressure switch.
It worked very well for the HX35, but the Dodgezilla truely hated it.
This guys set-up with the toggle switch looks like is just basically a way to disable your waste gate remotely, but only when you want maximum boost. The needle valve looks to function just like a common boost elbow unless it has some sort of spring ball pressure regulating capability.
