allright I bought this used HX 40 and I rebuilt it and all that wnet pretty well, turns out its not as complicated as people make it out to be. Anyway when I put it together I knind of pinched the ring and cut it so it is shot. What I need to know is do I need the O-ring that goes on the intake side of the turbo or will it be able to seal without it. (big ring that goes on the base and the housing slips over it)

 

You need a new sealing ring.

 

so is where is a good place that I can get one from?
