Smile New turbo & exhaust

Installed my Airwerks Super Turbo and Rips 4"-inch exhaust yesterday... can definitely tell the truck is breathing better. I didn't think the HX35 spooled slow, but the Airwerks is noticeably quicker.

Only complaint is that the exhaust is too quiet... coming from a 3" straight pipe, I miss that slap in the face sound that the straight pipe delivers. I can hardly even hear the exhaust over the engine so I think I'll try flipping the muffler around so it doesn't catch so much sound.

Why don't you just ditch the muffler completely?

Did you have the same trouble I'm having with your turbo install? See my HELP-PS62/14 install thread above. Thx Stuart

I flipped the muffler around last night and it does sound a lot better... still not a straight-pipe though so I'm sure you can all see where this is going... I may have to lose the muffler even if it does mean pissing off the neighbors.
