New Tranny, Thanks Richard!
Just wanted to thank Richard (raychem) at FPD in Miami for the new DTT tranny. Got the truck back the day before yesterday and can't stay out of it. Richard is a great guy to do business with, he had a trip planned up to this area last weekend so he personaly drove my truck 4hrs to my door. I now know what you fellows with the built autos have been talking about. I also want to thank everyone at DTT...........Brad

Congrats! Welcome to the club! I still remember my first day after the rebuild.
Mine has been trouble free for 90,000 miles!
Not cheap but if keeping your truck a long time a DTT rebuild is well worth it, IMO.

I've got my DTT for a looong time now and still it does work like a new one. A little bit of abuse here and there, a little over the specced horsepower at the time of build and it still goes strong. (Over 120 k miles now)

BSP, nice looking rig you got there. Love that color! Tranny guy was probably cruisin' your truck before he dropped it off.
But yes, I too hate these threads cause it gets me so tempted to get a built tranny, so I waste time looking at them online. Then I look at my bank account... For now I'll keep myself happy with exhausts, what kind of 6" tip to buy, etc... Actually I've got a Transgo shift kit sitting in my back seat. I can't wait till I get it on!!! But I lack time..

wcbcruzer, thanks for the compliment! When I dropped the truck off to Richard he took me for a little "spin" in his 05.(SB,tst, II pump, ect.)It was a sweet ride. Like RJ said ,I plan on keeping my truck for a long time so I look at it as an investment. I've got a new turbo and injectors I've had for awhile but want to do studs. cam. and springs next when the $$$$ appear. I'm working from the ground up so to speak.... Brad
