Yes Don, I know that sliding friction is less than static friction... that can be proven, and I'm sure it's even written in even the standard physics book. I think you're reaching reeeeaally far on this clutch slippage deal. Believe me when I tell you, when my converter locks, it locks firmly, and it's not slipping. So far so good with almost 20K miles and almost 1200 ft-lbs of torque.<br><br>Also...<br>

If you have a 99% efficient convertor the engine rpm may be 1000 rpm and the output side after the convertor would be 999rpm.

Great thread. Has anyone seen the info on the patent pending stuff? I did not see it.<br><br>Also, anyone know why many of dragsters use 4 link suspension?<br><br>Charles
