Ok a cuple more questions. 1 Can you flip it to run compounds? 2 Have you or anyone tested it on a truck in the 4-500 HP range vs the stock manifold or any of the other cast manifolds out? Im verry interested in one & need to do something. TIA Oh and also my EGT port is 1/4" NPT can that be taken care of buy you guys?

The only real problem i have with it is that my exhaust has to get all redone in my truck. My turbo is in the back of my exhaust manifold.I have the industrial version with the allison trans and it looks like it moves the turbo to the center of the manifold. I would have to get it and look and see if my floor needs to be either trimmed off or a rise in my floor.Does anyone live in NC so i can come look at it and take some measurments and go from there?

Can you tell us what you noticed? Faster spool up, lower EGT's, More power ect... Please fill is in a little bit. Thanks.

yea all the doge cummins 12valves have a mid mounted turbo. you could just go out and get an old mainfold and use that as a measuring divice.

1. better air flow, my turbo is blocked but I saw better boost, which in turn put more fuel in so now I have to back off on the plate. The spool up was about the same for a hx35, still launches great, and pulling hills I have probably about 100 deg F. cooler exh. I see more smoke but its when the torq conv locks up so i have to use my foot more to control it, such as don't let it lock up untill the rpm is up (keep your foot into it, let up a bit when it locks up, then get in to it slowly again. Any suggestioins before I start tuning ? Plate or starwheel ?

If someone is thinking of flipping this manifold over it isn't going to work. The header holes don't line up properly, correctly installed it goes right on no problem at all. It doesn't seem to get too hot either. Better than the stock one acting like a heat sink.

Is this thing strong enuff to support compound turbos? & what did you see when you put this manifold on? faster spool & lower EGT's? How about top end performance?

Hello MM
The fitment was superb ! If one wanted to support twins with it I would have to say they would need to add one more mount to be safe. I realized better performance. I'll explain a little because I also went to a 3GSKit. I realized more boost via what I believe was due to more rpm from more air flow. I also ended up with more smoke so I turned down fuel via the star wheel. Now I have less power through out the whole power range. The spool up was a little better, now its gone down. The engine still launches but not so much now that I turned down the fuel. What I need now is more air, a diff. turbo. That will yield the air to burn more fuel. If I'm correct more boost also enables more fuel in itself without doing anything regarding fuel settings, I saw more smoke. The GSK really didn't give me more rpm and that is something that puzzles me. Now I need suggestions for a turbo upgrade. I tow and race around town. Any suggestions ?

Thanks for the info. For a turbo Im all about the Ball Baring turbos. I am extreamly happy with my Garrett. They do cost a bit more but IMHO its worth it for the faster spoolup.
