New Stainless Pipe Header!

These go on sale tomorrow in the DTR first 5 are $150.00 off the $1000.00 retail!

Introducing the new stainless steel tubular exhaust header from Overkill Parts Co.

This header is now available for all 5.9 liter Cummins turbo diesels, 12 valve, 24 valve and Common rail applications. 12 valve and 24 valve are a 3 piece design and the common rail will be a 2 piece design, much like the other cast manifolds out there. All headers are built using our exclusive expansion joint which allow for expansion and contraction of the stainless tubing without breaking, cracking or sacrificing the strength of the header. The expansion joints are a crucial component in the header that is not offered by any other manufacturer and is absolutely necessary to get the performance, durability and longevity needed to last.

We are the only manufacturer using 321 grade stainless steel tubing which is necessary to withstand the higher temperatures and allow for the expansion and contraction characteristics best suited for diesel applications, thus allowing us to provide a clearly superior product. All of our head and turbo flanges are CNC machined from 1/2 inch thick stainless material to allow for the very best fit, function and great looks our customers demand.

These headers are clearly no accident, we have worked closely with engineers specializing in stainless header construction as well as experts in the diesel truck performance industry, to bring you a stainless steel header that not only looks great, it also performs and is built to last. Our headers have been tested for the past year in everything from everyday driving to extreme temperatures and very heavy towing in and out of the mountains performing flawlessly. We also have rear wheel dyno numbers compiled by diesel guru "John @ Floor It Diesel" comparing our header to another popular brand cast manifold. The test vehicle was custom built by "John" using the same tune for both test runs. Since testing the truck has been driven daily, making big power with our header installed.

Some advantages from the dyno test results:

Faster spool up

More boost

Better back pressure

Increased power

Lower Egt's

Much better looks

All headers come with one 1/8 inch pipe thread bung installed for a pyro, more can be added as needed. The 12 and 24 valve headers can also be set up to run upside down depending on your needs, please call and specify this at time of ordering.

Also available on request call for pricing;

High heat coatings

Professional Polishing

T4 or any other turbo flange

Waste gates

Whoa - that is definitely an Overkill part.. Very nice work. S.S. is VERY expensive right now - 10x the cost of carbon steel.

Sure looks a lot better than the other Header Ive seen floating around the net for $1000

Yes I had him put the pyro bung on #6 since it is the hottest cylinder on my 12 valve. Wait till you see how this thing looks polished I will have that done this weekend I hope.

Thats not the point - it will not crack or rust. And will allow for cooler EGT's.

That's understood but he said that he dyno'd it and has dyno numbers. I just wanted to see what hp/tq figures were over stock part.
