New Pulse Controller for Adrenaline
They have replaced/fixed the buttons and are adding a bigger chip for more engine readouts down the road!
Also appears to have a cable plug in to back of the Pulse... for quick removal and newer dash mount bracket.
Quad 0ffers a trade-in price to all existing Pulse owners!
Other than the power, my favorite Adrenaline feature is the 16 Engine Parameter readouts we get.
I believe Dodge reads out 50 parameters from the Cummins ECM. If we can get more of these.... I'm interested.
I spoke with Quadzilla tech and was told they plan on adding, in near future, many other features/readouts with the new bigger chip.
And to get buttons that work all the time....every time!!!!

Well, I want to clarify the additional parameter readout issue. I am not promising we will or won't add parameters but, its going to be tough.
There are 2 different data buses on these trucks. One is the Can Bus and the other is the CCS bus. 2 totally different deals. We are on the Can Bus which is where all the data is between the ECM and pump and some other stuff. I don't think we can get 50 parameters from this bus and we are not setup to run on 2 buses at the same time.
Having said that there are a few parameters we are working on. The problem is everything is raw data and there ain't no instrution booklet!

What would you like to see specifically?
I know we already added TC slip, gear and tc lockup status for the auto guys. I also believe the tc slip parameter will work on the manual guys also.

How does the trade in work? I buy the new Pulse and get a refund when i send in the old Pulse?
Or should i wait to get the I Quad?
And can i trade my Pulse in with the I Quad?
I'm just fed up with my crappy Pulse, the buttons still hardly work and never worked right from the get go.
Oh ya the instructions on your site for the V2 Pulse are actually for the crappy Pulse.

Did not know about TC Lockup Status?? Very cool! Guess I need to watch Web site more closely.
Need to think about "what else" for a while, but off the top of my head........
- Viscous Fan sensor temp readout.
- Pre turbo (air filter) intake temp
- Air flow meter
- Would be fun to have an ongoing TORQUE readout; or HP; or both! (kind of like the mileage meters in sedans)
If we could enter top dyno #'s .... couldn't the new chip interpolate what's being used, based on Power Level selected, Throttle Position and Engine Load?
-I still use my A-pillar gauges for EGT's. I use Adrenaline EGT readout for charged air temps leaving the turbo (pre CAC).
It's interesting to compare this temp with the IAT readout you already provide.
I realize most of these are "off the wall' and NOT Cummins engine parameter readouts. Just a few inputs I have kicked around in my head that I would love to figure out how to get. On engine parameters, let me find a list of what Cummins looks at and get back to you.
