That's pretty dern slick. How often do you think your gonna have to drain that sucker? Also how much you gonna ask for them?

I like it! Nice work. I have been thinking about a similar deal for a while but was worried that the breather would start dripping after a while. Keep us updated.

Don't forget the wrench, and you need to clean the paint off the ground wire next to the washer fluid top, and I assume, the passenger fender also.

Great install! Clean, clean engine!

That housing is available in ANY performance parts catalog for gas engines. they range in price from 50 bucks on up.

Look in the oil section...they are used on race cars

A friend of mine & I made one out of some scrap plate and some 3" exhaust pipe....works awesome on his 1100 hp race car engine.

That looks exactly like a Moroso coolant overflow reservoir.....is that what it is? It looks like it fits the bill well......a remote draincock might help to make it easier to drain when it is mounted in that location.

They make them for dry sump oil systems, as well as coolant overflow.

the can is my secret, I started to make some nice aluminum one as well. yo ucan buy a can anywhere. the nice thing is I will be making these as a direct fit deal for our trucks. I stuff the inside with steel wool and it seens to catch the oil and keep it from seeping out of the breather. I have a couple sold now and a couple going on a boat with 555 cummins engines.
I will be asking 79$ for a whole kit with mounting bracket fitting and pretty much everything needed.
the only thing is that the drain is kind of hard to get to. I was going to remote mount mine to acess it under the truck. I think this will work best and if so it will be part of the kit.
