For some reason the pics arent showing up for me.

Will these lights run ok without the HD harness? Wont be overheating my oem harness or switch?

I may pick up the HD harness eventually - but needed to replace my headlights first and went with these particular lights - just hope they arent too much for my oem harness.

Edit: Ok- just realized that these are the headlight assembly - no bulbs included? So your seeing brighter lights by simply replacing the lenses with these - and utilizing the same oem bulbs?

Yes. I had SilverStar bulbs but could not see any better than the stock bulbs. On low beam I would loose sight of the road while meeting a car about 100ft away and would just have to use there head lights to reference were I was on the road (scary) Now my lows are 2-4X brighter than my old highs were. Now just remember that you get what you pay for, you will not light up the world like a new BMW with these lenses but they are a lot better than what you have now and are only like $140 shipped. I really like them but you may be able to get better lights but you will pay $$$$$ for them. I have not had any prob with the stock harness and my SilverStar bulbs but will upgrade soon.

Thanks 1st Gen. Would rather accomplish this task without changing / modifying my oem harness if possible. Do you have a bulb number for these Silverstars?

I ordered the lenses off ebay - 131 shipped. Will post back when I get them installed.

Those sure look a lot better than the originals.

That's a great price on the harness from LMC. At that price it's hardly worth making your own harness.

Those look like the same lights that were on my truck when I bought it. I need to aim them down some more but they seem to throw good light.

does anyone have any experience with the eurostyle headlights from LMC? I'm looking for something like the "black" ones they sell, something that has a halo ring in it. How does the LED halo ring look in theirs?

I just did the LMC truck heavy duty harness works great the wires could be a little longer. The one thing I don't like is I lost the day time running lights which is Law in Canada so I will have to figure that out, Next will be new light assemblies.

So after a little screwing around I found with the ignition on when the day time running lights should have also been on one of the relays was chattering disconnected the day time running lights and problem solved shorted across two wires on the harness so the high beam indicator would work. I also found a post on here about grounding two wires under the steering column for low beams and high beams at the same time real easy and there is a tonne of light now.
by grounding the two wires in the picture(first and third wire top of plug) the high beam dash light will work
