Boost- You're wastegated to 22-24 psi, so you won't see more than that. Cruising arouund town empty you won't have hardly any, highway speed empty it will be 5 psi or so. If the temps climb after you reach peak boost, more boost would be helpful, but the turbo stops making useful boost after 35 psi or so. Above 35 psi it's mostly pressure gain from heating the air rather than compressing it. To add more boost, you can use a boost elbow or something similar. A boost elbow is just a calibrated leak in the boost line going to the wastegate actuator. Or you can get a TurboMaster wastegate controller like I have, lets you set the boost pressure with a 1/2 inch wrench.

Pyro- Cruising around town empty it will be 400 - 600, highway maybe as high as 900 if you're pushing a headwind. Up to 1200 is safe. Safe shutdown is 300.

wannabe? I'm gonna assume that's a typo.

If you're getting 30 psi, somebody has modified or disabled your wastegate actuator. This is not a problem, when you modify the pump to add more fuel you need more boost to keep things cool. Somebody did it already and saved you the trouble. As long as the temps are under control when you're at WOT and the boost isn't getting up over 35 psi, there's no reason to mess with it. More boost does not mean more power. As long as the temps are OK, more boost is just more resistance the engine has to push against.

No ECM on this truck, Bill must have missed that you have a 12 valve.
