New Era's 370

I just bought a set of New Era's 370 injectors. They recomended to start at 16.5 degrees of time and go from there. I was wandering if anyone has had any experience with these injectors and has any advice for me or tuning the motor. I was also interested in any other suggested mods for my truck given the current setup plus the 370's. I do tow 20k gvw plus on a regular basis. Curently with the 100 plate and the current mods including the new 5 inch exhaust in can only bury my pyro to 1100 pre turbo (in the manifold). Any advice and help would be greatly appriciated! The injectors should be at my ranch on Thursday.
Thanks in advanced

GS3K is a must for that truck. Id get an adjustable boost elbow if you dont have one. that should be a 215 pump (?) its weird youre not seeing more EGT.

the 215 pumps dont react to the gsk the way the smaller pumps do it help but i wouldnt say its a must. those temps are great, if it works for you keep it the way it is and get the 370's but you can get enough fuel from the 215's and 181's to hit 1500 on the pyro just to let you know.

Those 370s are going to heat it up ALOT more. Dont go over the 16.5* of timing or your going to pop your headgasket. I like my 4gsk kit, its nice to have the extra RPMS when pulling up a hill to control your egts. Citydiesel.net has the cheapest prices for govenor spring kits.
Do you have your plate and afc full forward? If not that explains the egts being so low.

You needed more turbo for those!
My truck runs great with them and towing.
But then again I have a valet switch, and put in a #10 plate when Im towing.

I have I have pulled my camper all over.
California, Colorado, Washington, and just about every other state except Alaska and Hawaii!!!!!!!!!
Thats whats nice about the valet switch.
Heck, when I had my Bosch 370s, I was able to pull without the valet switch, just watched my EGTS.

Like I said before, YOU NEEDED MORE TURBO!!!!!!!!

thats cause the 435's arent the cleanest or coolest but they can get the job done now i cant comment on the higher altitude but so many "Drivers" just throw everything together without the proper tuning and adjustment to match air to fuel rack even the biggest injectors can be set up to run with minimal smoke and heat, you might not need a bigger turbo just a better flowing one

I did the same thing I've got a burnt up HX35/40 Hybrid in the basement and that thing would get hot quick when pulling. Im running a b2 62/14 now and can easly keep it under 1050*. I wish I had my money back from the hybrid and bought the b2 in the first place. But you live you learn.

Sorry bout the untimely reply comp issues (that is why i got a 12 valve lol) Yes the gov spring is waiting in the toolbox going to do it at the same time as the injector swap. The plate and AFC is all the way forward. They said the injectors were supposed to be here Thursday but i havent seen them yet. Could be that I live out in the middle of no where!
