my new mods

I recently bought a 96 cummins reg. cab with 50k miles on it. Ive always wanted a diesel in my 17 years of life and finally got up enough money for it.

So far ive put a BHAF w/ outerwears prefilter, connected to an AFE torque booster tube. Turned up my starwheel and today put in a #8 fuel plate. Man what a difference that fuel plate made! and its still in the stock position.. i need to take it easy tho till i get some guages and exhaust. Eventually i want to end up with some 7" Bullhauler stacks ill post some pictures of my BHAF setup soon the turbo really whistles nice with that and the silencer ring removed as im sure most bhaf users would vouge for. Also everything ive done i learned from DTR!

cheers!

Sounds great!!! I didn't even think of the boost tube with a BHAF on it. I'm pretty young at 20 so I hear ya about affording one, although for mine I bought it cheap and have already spent $4,200 in tranny acc's and now my HG blew sunday so looks like next weekend a head gasket with new bolts and a timing cover/ crank seal with a KDP tab to finish it off for a while I hope...

im sure ill need tranny work soon at the rate im going.. and yeah the torque tube pretty much just slid on, i just had to slide the battery back a little bit, (it wasnt in the right place to begin with) to fit the bhaf, Course i did this at 10:00pm in a rain storm with the front end in my very small garage haha. i just couldnt resist putting it on and couldnt wait till the next day.

Congrats on the new cummins and the mods. I am only 17 but only have to pay half for my truck but all the mods on this is from me and me only no parents so i take pride in that and actually paying the half. I would pay for all of it but my parents said they will since i actually do pretty good in school and going to college.

Go out and have some fun with the truck you will love it!
