i used to play paintball with the service manager at the local dodge dealership so we are pretty good friends. and they had a NV5600 that they were going to junk because it had a broken syncro ring. so they gave it to me and i am having it rebuilt right now.
I saw your thread if i were you i would take it to your local drivetrain shop and have them rebuild it for you. its going to run me about $300 for mine. you would prob. be a little more but still cheaper then a new trans. www.drivetrain.com has some NV5600's and i think http://www.blumenthalmfg.com/ has some also

i know i post the same thing about a clutches but the two ive had the best luck with are a single by the guy who makes the EEP double disk and woodruff diesel custom built double its the best out there!! contact josh and tell him ben sent you!!

Obviously there is no substitude for the dual disc when sled pulling, but for street use, I've heard the single discs are better.
I've also heard the dual discs are slow shifting and will grind if you try to shift quickly.
I personally don't plan on adding anything more then a slightly bigger turbo or Variable Geometry turbo if the aftermarket ever comes out with one.
If my horsepower craving goes over 500, I'm thinkin a switch to a built auto or a different truck would be inline.
