Alright i'm in need of a new clutch bad,, i was wondering what kind of clutch i should get. I have a comp box, stage 5 jammers, intake,ex, and i will be getting a htb2 turbo before long along with the drag mod to my box. I would like to know of a good clutch that will last and is not to expensive. I tow alittle(24' inclosed with bikes and quads), but most of my driving is daliy drving and just racin my buddies. Thanks Skyler

My truck is amost exactly the same as yours except I might tow 10k a few times a year(more like 6k)

I just couldnt see spending the $2250 for the DD and upgraded input shaft but thats just me.

Ill probably kick myself in the *** in a few months but that might not happen as I really only want 550rwhp....

If you are wanting to go with a DD clutch a EEP double disc is the most driver friendly High HP DD Clutch. I have had one im my daily driver for 2 years now with zero problems..A South Bend Street version is a good clutch but not for the Pulling track..For most guys that hit the sled on the weekends the EEP is a great Clutch..

Ge a southbend. Peter just introduced a new line of daily driving dual discs that are supposed to be a lot more friendly.

What about performance if you cant drag a sled whats the point in having a High priced DD clutch? Like i said the EEP is a good daily driver and will take the abuse of a sled if you ever want too hook-up

Go with a South Bend Con FE with the larger flywheel (MU-13-1.25). This clutch is rated to 550 RWHP, made with feramic material which is awsome and will last. The DD clutches are nice for the high HP crowd or sledpullers but they take more effort to shift, rattle, and just aren't as user friendly. The SBC new DD street clutches promise to improve upon the driveability but I haven't had the opportunity to install or drive a truck using one as of yet.
