Probably not, but I've been doing ALOT of reading about it. I think I've read every thread that has mentioned it. Looks like good stuff.

Pretty sure the manifold is mostly a support issue to prevent cracking the stock manifold with out extra brackets...

I agree that the horn helps, but there have been dyno tests that show very little change.

I have never heard of the Swanker horn. How have I missed that?

The intake manifold can make a noticeable difference. Exhaust manifold w/ twins is about supporting the weight mainly; otherwise its more durable & will flow a little better. Also good if you want to put in a thermocouple - save your untapped stocker for trips to the dealer

Changing the exhaust manifold to go to the dealer seems like alot of work to me. Plus, there is no hiding the wrench marks on those rusty bolts.

I,m not suggesting Banks

New type intakes by ATS, Banks & CFM+ are sure pretty.

IT'S JUST MY OPINION.

The reason for the 3 piece manifold being needed for twins is the center section is aimed up instead of down to make everything fit..................

Personally I like the dog best. Check that look out of the corner of his eye. He knows what's what.

For the DIY person all you need is 2 90deg 3in pipe being mild steel, stainless or aluminum and a 3/8 plate and you have a nice intake weather b for looks or mayb a HP gain who knows , I made my own from scrap at work I also removed my grid spacer and made a 1in spacer out of pholenic (witch is used for cooling) and cut me some tornado grooves in the sides I dunno about any gain or what not but man this thing keeps the intake cool , now if you let it set after a run for say 5 minutes then it gets hot from the heat soak from the head but after a run its just as cool as outside air if not cooler , I think I'll b making a intake plate cause that thing is very hot so its getting my lines hotter to , we'll see how it does , I got some pics I uploaded of my intake but i never took any of the spacer , Hellman has a nice Intake to still I couldnt see spending the $$$ when I saw the parts laying in front of me
