Great article on something I plan on doing to my truck when I get the $$$. Thanks for the heads up on how to avoid diesel showers.
I just can't get the link that says "here" for instructions to work.

Several folks were giving me hassles on here about no install instructions...maybe that is not a link but yet another jab at poor widdo wee me. :'(

Well written article and factual too. Gotta have the facts. ;D
And once again I was told my product promotion line would probably not be in good taste but heres what I thought of anyway...

Gee, all the flack I was taking and theres the install instructions I provided to Rod and its obvious he did not proof it like he said he would. The boy is slippin' as he usually rips and critiques all of my efforts.
Glad it turned out like it did. 2 hrs is a nice pace for the install.

Don't worry, I've been telling every single customer that buys the systems that your install instructions stink
Good article, Charles. I am surprised by the pressure increase at your power level though. We're recommending this system for 400 HP and down guys, when using the factory lift pump, and for 400 HP+ guys, we're thinking that the Maximum Flow system in concert with a better lift pump will give everyone a reliable fuel system for whatever horsepower level you need to run.

Re:New Article - Wildcat Diesel Maximum Fuel Upgrade System
Well,,,,,,,,,,, I think I got the best deal! ;D
I won my kit as a door prize at the Claremont Diesel Round-Up and Scotty was there to steer me towards choosing the kit. (Thanks Scotty) That kit had no instructions,,,,,, (Scotty blamed Rod for that),,,,, so I had Rod give me the URL for the directions and then the pictures didn't show up,,,,, (he blamed that on Scotty)!
Anyway,,,,,, I went over to DD4x4's (Joel) and we put them on. Joel did most of the "grunt, cuss and stand on your head work" and I would take over when Joel's face would turn red. : ,,,,,, Oh yeah,,,,,,, I got to do the "Lay under the truck and take a Diesel Shower" part when it came time to make the connection to the hard line going to the tank. But,,, I only took 1 (one) "Diesel Shower" Stake! (you must be a slow learner!)
After all was done,,, I have seen an increase in idle pressure by 1 psi and my pressure doesn't drop below 12 at WOT. This is with a new lift pump and completely stock truck. I have no doubt that this is bound to help the lift pump live a little longer and I should have NO problems when I decide to add a little more horsepower in the future. This set-up is much better than the banjo fittings and it looks COOL too! ;D
