Will those work on a 24v Head?

 

I have seen the ones in the top of a 24v cover just a short pipe nipple in the top of the cover with a small air filter on top of that, a buddy of mine did the same thing but put a 90 on the cover and ran the hoses to the bottom of the engine and it worked 10x better than just the small filters on top.
