I fought the battle with the PE pumps, too. I went through 3, and my dad went through 3. I bought a Holley Red pump to get me off the side of the road in Florida and it got me home. When I made it back i re did the fuel lines and ran the holley and the stock lift pump, and I never had another problem. I ran it on the '01 in my sig for 5 months, and dad has run the same setup for another 5 months... no problems, and it keeps about 13psi at WOT, ~20 at idle. It's quiet, and you can get replacements should you need them. There have been a couple of other pusher pump threads in this forum recently that have some pretty good info about this setup.

yeah we called PE direct and they said they aren't gonna make em for dodges anymore just furd and chebbys. Where can you get the holley red pump. we have a diesel shop in town that has a cummins stock lift pump on the shelf so if we do that we know where to get the Lift pump. Also about how much does the Red cost?
Thanks for the info.

A holley blue by itself should be alright. Maybe tweak the spring a little bit till you get it where you want it. That or a red/stock combo would work good. Or a FASS system. The Fass is expensive, but it's supposed to be the best.

Red or Blue pumps can be bought from Advance Auto, or through Summit Racing, Jegs, or other online/mail order warehouses. They usually run around $100, and the line & fittings can run from 50-200 depending on how much you want to convert to the good stuff.

I've heard of them, but have no experience with them. I have looked at the tech sheets on them, and they draw a lot of amps for the pump motor. IMO that's not a good combo for longevity. If you don't want the stock LP in the combo I run, you could fab up a system with a red pump feeding a blue pump. I have thought about doing one like that, but haven't tried it to see how it would work yet.

The Holly Blue will support over 500 hp with ease. Thats with upgraded lines and no other pusher. Contact member Ryan . He has put a kit together with lines and banjo's and it works well in my opinion. And is priced right!!
