I'm thinking about going back to being "all legal." I had a straight pipe on for a short while and it was fun but I want to go back to having piece of mind especially since CA emission laws are so strict and my exhaust is SO loud (which draws popo attention). What I should've done from the beginning, instead of buying a 5" kit, was just delete the stock muffler or replace it with a straight-thru design. Oh well, it was good for the experience.

Now here are my options, tell me what you think is best:

1) Stock downpipe -> stock cat -> 5" pipe all the way back (basically a cat-back exhaust).

2) 4" downpipe -> stock cat -> 5" pipe all the way back

3) Go back to stock and delete muffler (or add MBRP 3" muffler).

The reason I gave options 1 and 2 is because I might as well use the 5" pipe I have. It would probably give a deeper sound too. I could try to sell it but I probably won't get my money's worth anyway.

 

Move out of CA isn't on your list! That's what I'd do!!!!
