Need Torque plate advice

With a good air intake, and good exhaust, whats the most agressive plate you can run with the stock turbo and a turbo master boost controller ? What I am getting at is i'd like to put a #100 plate and 4K GSK after I get the tranny upgrades. But until I can afford turbo mods what plate would you reccomend ?

#10 plate is a good plate for a stock truck. that being said i run a 100 plate foward on my stock auto and turbo I just am easy on the throttle and its fine, can't get really high EGT about 1050 max pre turbo

Okay, I am not going to put any plate in until I get the 5" exhaust, tranny VB & TC and guages. Just was wondering what max plate the stock turbo with boost control could handle.

Something's amiss on your truck then. I had a 3KGSK and #10 full forward - .030" and could bury the pyro on a dyno run with a Scotty and straightpiped stock exhaust.

Just watch your gauges... The #10 low end profile won't be kind on your tranny though.

But really, the turbo isn't your limiting factor.. adjust the wastegate for 35psi and run it..

I would say you can run the #100 and not get into EGT issues until playing. Also if you bump your timing up to 16* or so that would help with EGTs and top end power.
