need some more power for my 94
I have a 94 2500 4x4 automatic and have been really getting into how much performance these diesels can make. I use to have an import but sold it for my dodge and glad I did.
I have only had my 94 dodge for 2 almost 3 years now. I have added little dress up and truck gear which I will list soon.
For the power/engine mods I have added
K&N air max cone intake filter. gauges pyro, trans, boost. pulse exhaust manifold. exhaust brake. 4" turbo back exhaust. New performance transmission. New torque multiplier convertor. pressureloc. towloc. autoloc. torqloc. remote trans cooler with fan. New dana80 rear diff (dana70 spider gears slipped and destroyed the carrier).
With these trucks I was told that the stock trans can take some power but has to be changed if your going to put any real power to the truck.
I think I have done that and now I would not mind getting some advice what I should do now? I don't know what order to do them and what I need to do.
Been looking at the 40hp injectors, fuel stop plates or known as cam plates. and then turbo. bigger intercooler too.
The truck is my daily driver and I do lots of long distance driving so like the power, fuel economy and really don't want it to smoke too bad for crusin in town.
New to this but really like the site and info you all provide.

Looks like you have some good ideas there. Bigger injectors will help. I really wouldn't worry about the intercooler right away. Bump your timing up to around 16 degrees, and get a 3000 RPM governor spring kit. See how you like that, and go from there.

your all set up to go! get the plate the g springs and block the waste gate on the turbo, you should be running a cool 700 ld/ft and 250 to 280 hp at the rear wheels. it will pull like never before, for relatively little money compared to what you've spent on your current mods.

Check my signature. I should be making about 330hp/750tq and it runs plenty cool. I can get it to 1450* if I really wind it up hard in 3rd, but Its hard to do it. Its awesome for hauling with because it wont really get hot, and has plenty of power, and I can still get 22mpg on the interstate. and 18-19 around town if I keep my foot out of it. I would honestly start out with a #0, or #100 fuel plate(or a #10), and then a 4k. That will bring that thing to life. At that point, it may get hot under hard throttle, so i would do the timing advance. That brought my mileage up, and temperatures way down.

Anything over 3k doesent seem to do much good with a stock cam anyway. You can run the 4k without the HD springs, just dont wind it past 3400rpm's or so. The 4k pulls harder than the 3k even down low, so that is why I reccomended it.
