need opinions

went to strip ran 8.70 1/8 mi. useing g-tech next day ran 0 to 60 5.93. have been playing with plate. same g-tech running 5.30 0 to 60 am i correct in thinking it will be .6 quicker 1/8 mi. strip not open till warmer weather so i cant try it now?

what? no opinions on this opinionated board. all of my buddys disagree with me. i think i have dropped .6 of a sec. from my total et. they say no. ???????????

jug head I wouldn't put much faith in those G-tech things, messin around in a buddy's transam, if he put it to the wood while going up a hill it said his car had 450hp. It's completely stock lol. They may work if the road stays perfectly level, but Its hard for my to believe that a little block box can do the work of all those lasers and computers at the track. ?

u could be rite but instructions say it has to be level road. no arguement here just looking for opinions. will find out for sure when strip opens in march. ps i did run it on the same stretch of road

As long as you reach 60mph in the 1/8th, than your time will certainly be that much faster.

G-techs may not be totally accurate, but they are consistant, and are good to gauge mods performance increases.

Could be, same thing said he'd run a 13.9 in the 1/4 and he ended up runnin 14 flat. As long as the same conditions are kept, then it probably will give you good results as to comparison. Still run it at the track like you said lol. There's no replacement for that little white piece of paper that you can frame and put on the wall next to all your speeding tickets
