SPS 66 or the silver bullet. the only difference being that the silver bullet lights faster.

Depends on what you use your truck for. Time to choose- spool or cool?
Comp + 150 injectors puts you around 450+

You have phatshaft 62, 64, and 66: 62 for stock like spool and better than stock egt control, 66 has bad manners but will cools well, and the 64 is somewhere between. Then you have your super phatshafts which all use a larger wheel and a lot of extra work done on the hot side: 62, 64, and 66 again. The super phatshafts will be more of a top end turbo compared to the regular phatshafts as far as I can tell- bigger wheel takes a little longer to spin but when it does- hang on

From spool to cool: ps62 > sps62 > ps64 > sps64 > ps66> sps66 I haven't heard any comments on a sps64 or a ps66 so I'm guessing
Ps62 or sps62 sould be fine unless you have special plans for the truck
Sorry for the long confusing reply- just starting some coversation.
Doug can give ya some good advice- much better than mine

I am in a similar situation. I am quite happy with the power I have now. No interest in pulling competitions or drag racing. But I would like to be able to use my power to tow more easily without melting something. I went to the link posted for the different turbos. Alot of them seemed to be for what I am looking for. So How do I decide which is the best for me? There is quite a price difference.

If I get a turbo that does what I hope it can for me, namely everyday drivability with the ability to use my power for towing heavy, and an exhaust brake I am done and will consider my truck perfect! (for me at least )

Ph4tty is right on, except he forgot the silver bullet, it's supose to cool like the 66, but not have all the bad manners the 66 has, but I havent ran one. I have ran SPS62, PS64 and a SPS66. If you want to tow at all the 66 is out, the 62 will spool well but might be a little warm, The 64 still spool well and cools a little beter then the 62.

s300g is what I am looking at also. They are priced very well and I have not heard 1 bad thing about them yet. It may not be the ideal "hot rod" turbo but it seems like it would meet my needs.
