Need new tires soon

I have a 02 3500 and she is going to need a set tires soon.I would like to put something wider than the 235-85-16 but do not want to throw off the speedo and no wheel spacers. What or some good tires to look at that can go 50-55,000 miles thats about what i have now on the first set. Thanks

265-75-16...same diameter as stock, higher load capacity.

You'd need to narrow down what kinda tire you're loooking for. Highway, AT, Mudder, etc.

FWIW....I just put bridgestone dueller AT Revo's on my Jeep. HAven't had much chance to use them, but came highly recommended. Check tirerack.com for what's available and reviews.

Re:Need new tires soon

From what I have read and talked to dealers the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo's seem to get a thumbs up on our trucks.. BUT so will dozens of other brands of tires..

If you do a search of Dueler or Revo on here there were very positive feedback.. Or do a search on tires - that will get you pages and pages of posts with everyones comments..

Will the 265-75-16 tires rub out back or due you need a spacer to run these.Do not need a AT tire just a good highway tire that can 50,000 miles my MICH. DID discount tire whats 1400.00 for 6 new ones.

I'd look into some of BFG's Commercial treads. I'd be willing to bet they'd last 50K, and they are E-rated.

Re:Need new tires soon

Hmm...you didn't specify dually. 265's might be a bit wide. I've been told Ford rims have more offset...so maybe that will work.

Nothing else is going to be the same diameter....so you might want to figure out how much error you're willing to live with.

tire rack says $142 each. You can pretty much figure to add about $40 each if you get them locally with mounting and balancing. Sometimes you have to show the dealer the competition.
