Need to know how to messure turbo size

I have an hx40 and pu a dial caliber thats in mm, wanting to know what size exhaust housing I have on there. I thought you check the inside edge of the housing right, but numbers dont look right. 81.83mm now I need to covert that to cm right. so what do I have then.

Housing size is independent of wheel size. Exhaust housing size is cast into the housing. Probably a 14 or 16cm housing.

I didn't see any numbers, but it's much bigger then the hx35 which is 12 right. Are all holsets stamped on or inside the housing.

Millimeters to centimeters is fairly straightforward, you divide by 10 to get cm. or maybe that's not what you were asking...

Inside the turbine inlet, but its usually stamped outside of the housing as well, generally on the back of it. Its not based on the exterior size. Some H1C's came with a 21 cm housing, but physically was much smaller than the 22 cm housing on an HT3B.

Found it, right where you said it was on the inside of the manifold housing, covered with blk exhaust. and it is a #16. that must be way I have alittle more lag then I want in take off. tate thankyou for the help. was on another site and didnt even get 1 response to my question. thx again.
