Awhile back I remember seeing a thread on how to make your own j-hook out of hardware parts fromtrue-value or ace hardware. I can't find that thread anywhere. Can somebody who's done this helpme out? Gimme a parts list and some pics of how to do it? What are the gains with doing this? Help fuel mileage at all?

No mileage increase with it, but when I raised boost approx 5-7 psi from 18 to 24 to 25 psi it dropped EGT by 200 degrees from 1250 to 1050.

Good god... that picture didn't come up in the search here??? BTW....assuming you know you need a boost fooler of some sorts or the ecm my de-fuel if too high of psi is seen.

I haven't checked mine in years....but know that it's still there as I do hit 30psi under hard load.

No, I don't have a boost fooler yet.Gonna get a smarty after the holidays. I still can't find a thread with the info I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just used a turn buckle, hook one end on the wastgate arm and the other end on the bracket and tighten it up.

Nope, but if you take a pic of your wastegate you'll probably see what I'm talking about.
