Need help identifying alarm.

I'm looking for someone who might be able to identify an existing alarm I have in my truck. I was going to add a keyless entry kit, but noticed the truck has an aftermarket alarm, which also has keyless entry. If I can identify the unit, I'd only have to purchase new key fobs ... correct? I don't really know, but that's what I'm thinking. If I was to post a pic of the unit, is there someone who might be able to identify it. There is no name on it, but it says "made in the USA", if that helps any?

First thing tomorrow I'll snap a pic ... thanks!

It's about 2" square and has an illuminated red eye and a hole where you can see an adjustment screw. Half of the body is about 1/2" and the other is about an inch. The eye and the hole are on the raised side. On the back it states, "made in USA." Maybe this is familiar?

It looks like a shock sensor. follow the wires up and see where they go, you will probably find the brain for the alarm then.

No, nothing! I was surprized too! Are these units just a standard alarm that I can replace with another?

Lance, done deal! I took the unit to an alarm store in town and they hooked me up with a remote for it. It took about a minute to program and I was back in the game. Thanks for you assistance, I do appreciate you spending the time like you did. If I can ever be of service, let me know.

Cheers,
Andrew
