Need help.

So ya'll can see what I have done to my truck by my sig. I am to the point where I want/need more. There has been a few times where I have only kept up with a stroke, and got beat by a duramax. Whats next? I know I need a turbo and of course tranny upgrade! I want daily driver but still I want more power. Any help would be grately appreciated. I'm sittin in Iraq right now and it's about the only thing on my mind! I want to order the stuff before I get back. Thanks for the help!

I would say get the trans goin first, VB, single disc TC is good for around 600 hp I think, Billet input at minimum. Wouldnt hurt to have billet flex plate and intermediate as well.

Then hot unlock for your J/A. That will give you more fuel on the top end.
Careful though, stage 6 will cook your turbo pretty quick. Might wanna opt for a 150 lp also.

Next is a little tricky.. If you have a j-hook, you have the tiny HY-35 turbo same as me...
MY plan is to get some DDP 3 sticks and run the Juice low or off while seeing how the new sticks are, then within a few weeks of the sticks getting a 62/65/12 or 14 turbo with head studs and exhaust mani. That is what I for see as the perfect set up for a truck that will tow, race, push, and Can have nice manners.

It might not be the fastest or strongest, but at around 450 rwhp it'll get the job done. And keep those strokers behind you too.

IMO.

Hope this helps.
Thank you for doin your part over there.

Even if you kept the fueling you have now and purchase a built tranny. You would be amazed at the difference between the built one and stock one. You would be a lot faster in acceleration as well. Once you have a tranny, then you can start adding more goodies...turbo, stacking modules, etc.

Would it be best to try and find someone to rebuild the one I have or should I just go out and get a new tranny? I guess I really don't know much about that.

Well, they wouldnt have to rebuild it per-say, If you just did TC VB and input shaft. That would be more, swappin out the stock parts for the built parts.
I think that would work alright.

This is kind of off subject but when I put in my rv275's my fuel mileage dropped considerably. I didn't have much time to trouble shoot it before I left but why do you think I went from almost 500 miles per tank to 300? I thought I should have got better mileage? I run the edge on mileage or drive. I rarely bump it up over level 3. Any thoughts why it went down so much.
