Short of haveing it pre-marked, that is THE best way. And you WILL be able to feel the difference, trust me. It's a good running box!!!!

If I am not mistaken, the "cut" or key in the switch is the off position.
I have no idea why that is not in the instructions? I will find out though!
I also have no idea why we shipped them without washers and nuts? I will also find out how that happened.

I guess this is why we beta test?? Stupid things get overlooked on a regular basis. Our guys our used to the digital switches and they do not look for the little stuff for some reason on these new toggle switches??

Quad, you say that the lower switch is off? I could have swore that while driving I still had a bit of the pump surging even in that position. In fact I know I did. I had to completely disconnect the box to rid myself of said surging................

AAAARRRRRGGGGG . No box yet! Oooh, I'm just itching to get it hooked back up. It'll probably be here today or tomorrow. I just need PATIENCE!!!! Which of course, I seriously lack at times........ Heck it's been less than a week..... "patience, grasshopper"

Update: got mine installed this morning.
Ended up using the firewall hole for the hood release and lot of black RTV as a weather seal. The location that was suggested (by JPR Ram?) is not available for those of us with manual trannies, thats the mound location for the clutch hydraulics.
Next issue was were to mount the box. I thought there was enough room to use the clutch petal mount frame, almost. The clutch contacted the box just short of bottoming out. Relocated to what ever control module that is between the parking break and the clutch. I've got some concerns about heat from that module though.
Switch is not hard mounted yet. Routed wiring behind the lower moldings and the switch is effectively in the instrument cluster in front of the fuel gauge. Haven't decided if I'm going to place it in the leading edge of the lower molding (already have an idiot light for the alarm there) or the eyebrow molding above the instrument cluster.
Took a short test drive and everything works well. More too come.
Short test drive went well.

Installed mine as well
I installed mine this weekend. Hardest part was figuring out where to mount the box. I removed the panel under the steering wheel and mounted it to the metal frame to the left of the column. Switch is in the ashtray. No one knows it's there but me.
I tried it out on the drive to work this am, 60 miles, mostly downhill. My un-calibrated butt-dyno couldn't really tell a difference in any switch position. I don't know where in the rpm range the extra power should be, I drive in the 2200 rpm range, maybe I'm missing it. If I go home Tuesday night, the hills(6% x3, longest 12miles) should be easier with 70 more hp, right? If not I will have to give them a call.

Normal driving habits hopefully. My intent is to run this setting for a couple of tanks (about a week) for mileage and response evaluation. Sometime soon I'll be hooking my 2 horse for weanling training(futurity baby and the show is next month) so position 3 testing will definetly be in use then.
This mornings commute(50 miles approx) was in position 2. On ramp accel felt smoother and quicker to speed for the same or near same pedal position. Cruise "felt" smoother and passing power was responsive.
More to come

I think we found a bug in our software that we use to mass program the boards. The last group we programmed and tested something was messed up with the gang programming (programming a lot of boards at one time). Initially it looked like it was working perfect but, I think it was only loading the timing only power level in every position.
I think we have it fixed and will be sending the update out to all the beta testers.
I will give another update at the end of the day.
