mx yfz 450

I just ordered a super phat shaft 62 from industrial inection. Any one have one of these? How do they run? I have a drag comp, jammer 5's and 4" straight pipe and cold air intake. How will this run on my truck you think? Thanks Skyler

I'm running one, spools well and does a pretty good job of cooling. You won't be disappointed.

I just put mine on about 2 weeks ago.

It all depends on which exhaust housing you got and what you expect from it. I have the 14cm and it has a slight lag, but once it lights it comes on smooth and strong (starts around 1400RPM, but really takes off around 1800-1900RPM). It really shines right around 40-45psi. I have yet to get my EGT's over 1200* with the TST on #9 and the Smarty on SW #9 on level ground unloaded.

Towing at around 20K gross I leave the TST off and on slight grades EGT's can approach 1300*. I have yet to see 1400* even for a split second, but I haven't flipped the switch on the TST while towing yet.

Turbo's won't add much power unless there is extra fuel to be burnt, so your power gains will depend on how smoky you are now

I have jammer 5's with a drag comp and i think i'm over fuling my stock turbo cause i can hit like 1400 real real quick. I'm hoping for like 75hp. That would be good and hopfully take my temps down a bit for i can on the gas longer.

My expirience in going to larger single turbos is ..... if you have enough fuel, which you do, you will "release" an additional 30-40 hp, which will be very noticable.
By release I mean you will convert smoke (unburned fuel) to HP.

From all accounts, that is a great all around turbo! Hope you got the 14cm equivalent housing on the turbine? Smaller will, IMO, got hot too quickly.
